Chef Shane Chartrand
We are thrilled to welcome Chef Shane Chartrand as a guest chef for the #CAPHC50 Gala! Shane grew up on a farm outside of Red Deer and moved to Edmonton for culinary training. Working with award winning chefs, and training in some of the best restaurants and hotels he could find, in Canada, he has furthered his culinary skills.
Shane has taught cooking classes to Aboriginal youth, remembering that success is not just dependent upon credentials and experience, but also how much one has to offer back to the community.
Introducing Michael McCreay, a twenty-two year old comedian diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of five.
At age 13, in an act of self-preservation, combined with the desire for constant attention and the inability to stop talking - he began stand-up comedy. In the past 5 years he has performed stand-up shows,
keynote addresses and panel presentations in every province in
Canada and across the United States. You may have seen him on The National or heard him on CBC Radio’s “Laugh Out Loud”.
Live music, cocktails, and more
We will be having live music, award presentations, and other entertainment! Don't miss out on the celebrations!
