CN-CYR Mission Statement

The Canadian Network of Child and Youth Rehabilitation is a consortium of organizations across Canada that promote excellence in the provision of rehabilitation services for children, youth and their families.

Who is CN-CYR?

The administrators, clinicians and researchers involved in CN-CYR represent organizations across Canada that share an interest in the advancement of child development and rehabilitation services. The majority of organizations are outpatient rehabilitation and child development centres followed by acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals and community and home service providers. The services provided are for children and youth who present with a primary developmental-behavioural condition, a neuromotor/neurological condition, a physical disability, a musculoskeletal diagnosis or a primary sensory impairment.  Services include direct therapy, diagnostic assessments and consultations, facility based in and out patient care and consultations to outside care providers. Over 80% of the organizations offer specialized services such as assistive technology and or seating services.
