You will address the clinical practice, education, research, and consultation components of the nurse practitioner role. Currently registered with the CNO, your Master’s in nursing is augmented by a nurse practitioner program. Your neonatal nursing experience includes a minimum of two years in an Advanced Level II or Level III Nursery. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

Manitoba Institute of Child Health

The Manitoba Institute of Child Health, a division of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Research. The Director is responsible for the executive level academic leadership and strategic management of operations of the Institute. The incumbent must have a strong research focus with previous independent research experience in basic and/or clinical science in an area of Child Health. The Director should have previous administrative experience in a University health faculty setting with a strong knowledge of research funding mechanisms within both the private and public sectors. The Director must also be a leader and mentor, plus have the ability to motivate other researchers and to hold researchers accountable for their performance. The Director will have the option to hold an academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health, University of Manitoba and other related departments.

Administrator- Information Integration

Reporting to the Consultant, Information Integration, this key role will be responsible for the
integrity and maintenance of patient specific data architecture and data stores, and for taking
a lead role in the design, writing and production of standard and ad hoc reports/queries using
the data stored in these applications. With a strong client service focus, your ability to provide
and communicate integrated data analysis and interpretation to senior leadership, agency
committees and departments and external consultants will influence critical decision making
throughout the organization. Further key functions include problem identification and resolution,
system documentation and maintenance of integrated data repositories, and assisting and
advising team members on issues relating to data quality, interpretation and reporting.
In addition to 3-5 years of related experience, you possess a degree in Health Information, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. Your advanced systems expertise, superior
analytical skills and ability to understand complex hospital operations as they relate to data and
information will ensure continued success.
