What’s Working? – Strategies and Practices that are Improving the Health Outcomes
of Canadian Children and Youth
October 17-20, 2010
Winnipeg, Manitoba
The CAPHC Annual Conference is the largest annual meeting of the child and youth healthcare provider community in Canada. The Conference engages a broad stakeholder group that includes Hospital CEOs, Chief Financial Officers, Senior Administrators, Physicians, Clinical Directors, Multidisciplinary Practitioners, Policy Makers, Researchers and many others.
A little more than a month has passed since the 2010 CAPHC Annual Conference in Winnipeg. We've heard from the delegates, and once again they have identified that the CAPHC Annual Conference is one of the highlights of their year. From Dr. Dave Williams' keynote presentation, to Karen Netzel and Serge Bilodeau's emotional and inspirational presentation to the fabulous performances at the Tuesday evening banquet, the efforts of the national and local planning committee members were well recognized. While there is always room for improvement, and we have heard a number of suggestions that we are taking to the 2011 Planning Committee, just about every aspect of the of the event received extremely positive responses.
Conference Presentations
We have also received permission from the last few speakers that are allowing us to share their presentations, and all of the presentations that have been provided to us are now on the CAPHC Annual Conference website at » www.conference.caphc.org. Specifically, there is an » Archive section where all resources (ie: PowerPoints, documents, audio/video) for previous conferences will be posted.
Currently, we have a number of the PowerPoint presentations posted, organized by day, and session. Some speakers were not able to share their presentations, but if you looking for something that you don't see posted, please feel free to contact us.
Photo Gallery
We have also included a » photo gallery with a selection of pictures that were taken throughout the event.
