"Going Green!!"
CAPHC is attempting to do its part to reduce the environmental
impact of our activities. This section of the update will
highlight some of the things we will be doing to be as "green"
as possible.
»
According to a 2001 report of the World Wide Fund for Nature
(WWF), roughly 1.5 million tons of plastic are expended in
the bottling of 89 billion liters of water each year.
This year, you can expect us to continue with limiting our
use of bottled water. We will be providing water bottles in
the delegate bags, there will be water stations throughout
the event, and upon request, water pitchers can be placed
at your tables.
We hope you will support us in our endeavours to be environmentally
responsible, and if you have any suggestions for how we can
continue to “green up” our event, don't hesitate
to contact us.

If you have any other questions about the 2009 CAPHC Annual
Meeting please don’t hesitate to contact us. CAPHC and
your Halifax colleagues are looking forward to welcoming you
to their beautiful city.
